They feature an out-turned eye, providing a continuous curve from the hook link to the hook when using stiff presentations. The hook&#8217;s shape is based on the iconic Wide Gape pattern, albeit in a slightly thicker wire, offering enhanced strength. The slightly curved point is very sharp, and the barb is of a size that doesn&#8217;t hinder penetration but helps the hook stay securely in place. The Choddy comes in barbed and barbless versions, in sizes 4, 6, 8, and 10, with ten hooks in each pack. The hooks are made from carbon steel with a Teflon coating, providing impressive strength while reducing visibility in the water. The hooks are flat forged, featuring a straight shank, 25-degree upturned eye, and are chemically sharpened to retain their sharpness in demanding conditions. The dull, anti-glare finish blends in with the surroundings, ensuring that you won&#8217;t spook any passing fish.
