Nissin and their Ares line of rods are one of the few rod companies in Japan that roll their own blanks. This puts them on par with other high end Made in Japan rods.
Their rods are superbly light, fast and sensitive, and last but not least, beautifully made. They have a wide range of rods, from shore to offshore fishing so there will be something for everyone.
Blue Porter X4 EG are very similar to Blue Porter EG series. They feature 4-axis carbon weave that reduces longitudinal torsion and makes the blank restore to its original shape faster when casting thus allowing for better and longer casts. With the difference of Blue Porter EG they also feature Ares Matte wrapping method.
